Gel Manicure

A gel manicure is a popular nail treatment that uses gel-based polish and requires curing under a UV or LED light to harden or "set" the polish. This process begins with the usual manicure steps: nails are cleaned, shaped, and cuticles are cared for. A base coat is applied, followed by layers of the gel polish, each cured under the light for a few minutes. A topcoat is added last and cured for durability and shine. Gel manicures are loved for their glossy finish and long-lasting wear, typically holding up without chipping or peeling for up to two weeks.
